What type of sessions can I expect at Momentum Rome?
A wide selection of sessions will be offered at the conference, ranging from executive sessions for CIOs and line-of-business managers to extremely technical presentations for developers and advanced EMC software users. Will pre-conference tutorials be offered this year?
No, pre-conference tutorials will not be offered at Momentum Rome. This year, additional EMC Fundamentals sessions will be offered on Monday, October 23. See the Breakout Sessions page for details.

What are EMC Fundamentals?
Held on Monday, October 23, EMC Fundamentals sessions will provide you with a baseline understanding of key business application areas, such as information lifecycle management, enterprise content management, collaboration, records management, digital asset management, and more. New users are encouraged to attend these sessions to attain a basic understanding of all the possibilities EMC software solutions afford. No additional fee is required to attend the EMC Fundamentals sessions.

When is the exhibit registration deadline?
Sponsorships are available and are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. On average, nearly 50% of Momentum sponsorships sell within the first few weeks of registration opening (March 6), and sponsorships sell out every year-so do not delay!

Momentum Rome is open to all EMC customers, partners, and other members of the EMC community. What is the registration cost for attending Momentum Rome? Are any special discounts available?
Discounts are available for Momentum Rome. Registration rates vary based on when you sign up and whether you register with other members of your company. See the table below for more details or visit the Registration Information page.

May I register at the conference?
Attendees may register on-site for a fee of €1,375. We recommend either registering before June 30 to take advantage of our special early bird rate of €1,100 or signing up with four or more colleagues to receive the group discount.


Can I bring a guest to Momentum's special events?
Guest passes for evening social events will be available for purchase when registration opens on May 1. Social guests are not permitted in the general sessions, conference sessions, or daily meals.

Are special hotel rates available for Momentum attendees?
The Momentum organisers have negotiated special rates with all official Momentum Hotels, including the Cavalieri Hilton. Check back after 1 May 2006 for complete details.

How do I make my hotel reservation for the conference?
The full list of official hotels and booking information will be available from 1 May 2006. Conference registration for Momentum Rome does not include hotel accommodation, so you must make your reservations directly with your preferred Momentum conference hotel.

Because Momentum is set in a relaxed, professional atmosphere, attire for the conference is business casual. Meeting room temperatures can be cool and the climate may vary, so it is recommended that you wear layered clothing for comfort.

During the conference registration process, you will be asked if you have special needs or requests. If you require special assistance or have particular dietary needs, be sure to complete the appropriate section when registering for the conference.
