Momentum Anaheim TracksTrack 1: Product Overviews This track provides overviews for a wide range of EMC software products. These sessions are ideal for new users, as well as experienced users looking to leverage products they currently have and learn about additional products EMC offers.
Track 2: Information Intelligence and Lifecycle Management Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) is revolutionizing the way organizations store, access, secure, and manage their information. As the value of information changes across its lifecycle, intelligent management is key to reducing costs and mitigating risk. This track features sessions that describe the processes and technologies involved in implementing an ILM strategy, including information discovery and classification, policy-based automation, archiving, search, information placement and protection, security, and compliance.
Track 3: Collaboration and Document / Knowledge Management Solutions This track focuses on content applications based on document management and collaboration capabilities of the EMC Documentum enterprise content management platform and EMC Documentum eRoom. The sessions in this track are presented by EMC, partners, and customers and include product overviews and customer best practices in solutions such as contract management and project management.
Track 4: Web Content and Rich Media Management Solutions This track is dedicated to content applications based on Web content management and digital asset management capabilities of the EMC Documentum enterprise content management platform. The sessions are presented by EMC, partners, and customers and cover topics including product overviews and customer best practices in Web publishing and marketing resource management.
Track 5: Document and Image Processing and Business Process Management Solutions This track is devoted to applications based on document image processing and business process management provided by the EMC Documentum enterprise content management platform. These sessions demonstrate how Documentum customers use these technologies to automate processes such as invoice processing, claims management, and partner interaction.
Track 6: Enterprise Archiving and Compliance Solutions This track spotlights a number of new archiving products, including the next generation EMC Documentum Records Manager and the new EMC Documentum Submissions Manager. Customers discuss how their companies solve archival, compliance, security, and control issues. Learn how all content types can be retained and controlled, from e-mail to invoices and spreadsheets to SAP system files.
Track 7: Architecture, Performance Tuning, Customization, and Development This track is for IT professionals responsible for administering, configuring, and customizing EMC Documentum product solutions in their organizations. Learn real-world best practices for optimizing the Documentum platform and other EMC software for specific applications. Topics include performance tuning, planning for system migrations, administrative tips and tricks, working with various development tools, and building custom interfaces.
Track 8: Business Best Practices in Content Management Deployment Deploying content management across large, global enterprises is not just about technology. In fact, it can be as much or even more about building the right ROI or business case, or figuring out the right governance model. This track focuses on strategies, approaches, and best practices for effective deployment of content management across large, global, and/or complex enterprises. Topics addressed include developing ROI models, deploying centers of excellence, and business strategies for adoption and ongoing management.
Track 9: Protecting Your Information Assets As volumes of information continue to grow, protecting, securing, and controlling that information is becoming increasingly difficult. Companies that don't adequately protect their data can experience compliance issues, security breaches, and service level agreement problems. In today's age, recovering information quickly, easily, and reliably has never been more important. Sessions in this track explain how EMC helps ensure the protection and availability of your most important information assets.
Track 10: Strategic Directions and the World Beyond EMC We all know that managing enterprise content doesn't begin and end just with EMC Documentum. Many other applications are involved in generating, using, integrating, and managing content—from Microsoft to SAP and so on. Additionally, we know that you and other EMC software champions need to have a clear understanding of where we're going and what our future strategies are. This unique track features sessions on our strategic directions—both with other large application vendors and with our platform roadmaps and acquisition integration strategies.
Track 11: Input Management Technology Overview Get the most from your IT investments by driving more intelligent information into enterprise systems with input management solutions. This track features educational sessions on the latest technologies for capture, classification, and routing of documents and images. Sessions provide overviews of a variety of input management products and solutions from EMC Captiva. Track 12: Document Capture Case Studies This track provides real examples of input management solutions at leading companies in a variety of industries. Hear how EMC Captiva products are being used across the enterprise to improve business processes, reduce costs, increase information accuracy, and improve customer service. Presenters provide detailed case studies describing how they selected and implemented input management solutions and the results they achieved.
Track 13: Solutions and Successes in Recovery Management This track explains how EMC recovery management software enables companies to better deploy backup, recovery, and data protection strategies to maximize system uptime and recover in case of unforeseen system disruptions. Hear both from EMC and our customers how you can benefit from a strategic recovery management plan and the deployment of a complete portfolio of recovery management software.
